~Biography~

Kurt Gott is a Florida-based singer-songwriter and full-time independent musician originally from Massachusetts. Known for a blend of rock, country, and blues, he’s often compared to Don Henley and Paul McCartney. His musical influences include The Beatles, Eagles, Tom Petty, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Allman Brothers Band, and Kenny Chesney.

Gott began writing songs at age 13 after learning guitar and later taught himself piano, while also playing drums, bass, and harmonica. After 27 years in television operations, he left his career at age 50 to pursue music full-time. Since then, he’s released a full album, several singles, and performs 4–5 shows weekly.

He performs solo and duo acoustic shows across Southeast Florida and also plays lead guitar in his classic rock band, The Full Decks. Gott has shared the stage with Maria De Crescenzo of KC & the Sunshine Band and Abraham Millett, formerly of Third Eye Blind.

His song “Wine From a Dixie Cup” won Best Country Song of 2022 on Glacer FM Global Internet Radio Listener’s Choice Awards and appeared on his debut album Last Call. Today, Gott continues writing, recording, and performing live, dedicated to growing his music career and connecting with fans.
